Mushfiqur joins training after injury
To much of the relief of the Bangladeshi cricket fans, ace wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has joined training after recovering from a shoulder injury ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup beginning next month.
The cricket team’s injury crisis raises concern on January 1 this year after the Test captain picked up the injury while playing football at Mirpur with his Prime Doleshwar teammates ahead of Dhaka Premier League Super-Six match.
He has however got his early recovery and attended the practice session on January 12.
“Mushfiqur Rahim has started batting in the nets from today after recovering from the shoulder injury as tigers continue their preparations for the world cup 2015,” according to a recent post on the cricketers official Facebook page.
