Lionel Messi returned to his club training today following controversy over his unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia. PSG posted a picture of the Argentina superstar in their twitter account with a caption: Leo Messi back in training this Monday morning. Messi on Friday apologised for going on an unauthorised trip that reportedly led to Argentina's World Cup-winning captain being suspended by his club Paris Saint-Germain. The affair has also made it increasingly unlikely that Messi will remain at PSG beyond this season, when his two-year contract with the club expires.
