Local people have built this bamboo bridge on their own to cross the Banasree canal to commute between Banasree and Aftabnagar residential areas. For their daily business, the people have to make the crossing several times every day to avoid a tiresome and time-consuming detour since there is no other option. This bridge is around half a kilometre away from Rampura bridge and there was no other such structure across the long canal. The photo was taken on Wednesday. Photo: Palash Khan
