Menon for regional approach

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon yesterday urged the International Air Transport Association to assist in developing a harmonised regional approach for ensuring aviation security.
He said this while inaugurating an international seminar on aviation security in the capital.
The Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAA,B) with the support of IATA organised the two-day seminar titled "CAAB-IATA Aviation security seminar” at a hotel.
IATA's regional vice president for Asia Pacific, Conard Clifford and Chairman of CAAB Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Haque also spoke.
