Police stop vehicles on Ashulia Highway near Ashulia Bazar on the outskirts of the capital around 11:00am yesterday, amid a nationwide shutdown enforced to contain the spread of novel coronavirus. The law enforcers sent back anyone who failed to come up with a valid reason for leaving the city. Many seeking to travel to their village home to spend Eid with their families had to go back.
