From Gitabitan

Shesh Nahi Je Shesh Kotha ke Bolbe

There’s no end, why then the last word needs to be said.

What strikes as a blow will become a flame;

Once the clouds have their part, the rain has its start;

Once the ice has enough, the melted river has its start;

What ceases to be is but the eyes failure to see;

 Leaving darkness behind, the door opens to merge with light;

The old heart stops to find a new beat;

If life is a flower abloom, death must be its fruition.

Chokher Aloye Dekhechhilem

The light of my eyes, brings the world in my sight

I’ll then have insight, when there’s no light

The world out of reach comes alive in my mind

And lights you up in its own light.

You and I once played in a playhouse

But a storm big snapped the doll that we toyed with

Let’s leave the play then, and meet at the fest of hearts

My lyre with broken strings, sing then to the tunes of heart.
