Epic burger challenge at Le Méridien Dhaka

The culinary team of Le Méridien Dhaka presented a food challenge never before experienced in Bangladesh. Foodies were invited to take on a 2 kg burger at their restaurant, Olea. The challenge started on July 5, 2019 and continued for two weeks.

As part of the challenge, the burger had to be finished within half an hour. The burger would be on the house for those who could complete it. Failure to do so would result in the customers to pay the full price: Tk 4,999++. This exclusive burger was not just massive in size but also packed with flavours. As ingredients the chefs used 2 kg of beef, cheddar cheese, beef bacon jam, special cocktail sauce, gherkins, jalapeno and fries served as a side.

On this occasion, the General Manager of Le Méridien Dhaka, Constantinos S Gavriel, commented, “I believe food can be entertainment. Food should be fun. We have always liked the challenge ‘Man vs Food’. So, we are very excited to bring our own challenge for our guests, through this challenge they can also experience a flavourful gourmet burger like never before. We encourage people to bring their friends along with them to take the challenge.”
