A fun-filled Palace
Break free!
Would you like to be clad in futuristic armour for a while? Would you mind picking up a gun and shoot the bad guys? And would you not just love to show off your basketball skills at the cost of your friend’s utter defeat, or perhaps crush him in endless games of foosball?
Who wouldn’t?
And The Palace, with its games centre, allows you to do all that.
First of all, the kids will love it there. Second, you will too!
The games zone - where the air is thick with cheers, screams and laughter — is a place where you can escape the monotonous outside world and bring out your inner child.
Its VR installation is arguably the best attraction. There is perhaps nothing as immersive as Virtual Reality, and you have probably had a taste of it already by putting on a VR headset.
The Palace takes it to the next level. And hence, as you wear the headset and climb onto the VR motion simulation chair, you are immediately transported to another world.
In that world, anything and everything is possible, be it an adventure-ride through scenic locations with deadly sci-fi entities lurking, or taking on a dangerous mission with futuristic armoured weapons like Iron Man!
And there are many such ‘worlds’, with over 100 themes or games, from a wide array of genres or categories.
The games centre also houses a 7D theatre.
Meanwhile, the Shooting Game Hall is where you and your mates can take up guns to fire at enemies gunning for you on the screen.
Immersive and interactive entertainment lets you escape reality and dive into fantasies.
On the other hand, relatively simpler games have a charm like no other.
The basketball-based arcade games, to illustrate, bring out a frenzy to aim for the hoop and score.
Or table tennis, foosball et al always make you wonder later how time flew!
For the juvenile, there are plenty of options: classic carousel, the cute Frogs Vs Ducks based on aiming jets of water and simple physics in action, a challenging ‘hit the frog’ game where one has to hit random emerging heads using a hammer using quick reflexes, those thrilling arcade video games of bike rides and many more.
Your kids will enjoy their time as much as you do. Go to their games centre for your children; stay there for hours for yourself!
Splash !
What could be a better way to beat all the summer heat and humidity than spending fun times in the water? Water keeps you cool and comfortable; a water park, in addition to that, can perk your energy levels with all the fun activities you can take a dive in.
The Palace’s Water Zone promises just that.
The very sight of the Water Zone is enticing - with the bluish hue of the overall pool and the pretty structures here and there that sort of remind you of a magical or fantasy land.
And the sounds of the splashes too, add to the ambience and feel of the place.
The large bucket affixed on the top of the main structure, for example, empties itself by overturning, thus creating large splashes; in intervals once it gets filled with water.
With the various intelligently designed mechanisms, the area keeps you interested and busy for plenty of time.
Water Zone offers a range of activities, thus making it attractive for people of different ages and with different preferences.
For the more spirited individuals, there are water guns to wage wars with. With the machines — which also give you some liberty on the range and force — placed on both sides, you and your friends can break into squads and have a blast.
And for those looking to unwind or take rest after an adventurous time, there are beautifully designed spots amidst the waters where one can just chill out and have a good time.
And of course, for the adrenaline junkies, there is a water slide.
The luxury resort’s Water Zone therefore has something for everyone.
And hence, whether you are going as a couple or as a family with children, or just as a group of friends, the water park experience will not let you down.
