Salinity in coastal areas

By diverting the natural flow of rivers, our neighbouring country India has managed to stop the encroachment of salinity from sea waters. Farmers in our country may greatly benefit from this method. The government and many NGOs are working on it and other rural development partners should help farmers in this regard.
