Khaleda urged to call off agitation during A, O level exams
Guardians urged BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today to refrain from calling agitation programmes like hartal and blockade during A-level and O-level exams due in January.
A five-member delegation of guardians headed by one Suraiya Alam submitted a memorandum to the staff of the opposition leader at her Gulshan residence this evening.
The memo stated that the exams scheduled from January 7 to January 29 will be cancelled if the opposition parties enforce any hartal or blockade during the time.
The students will have to face a year-long session jam if the exams would be suspended, the memo added.
