Jubo League man hacked to death in Laxmipur

A local Jubo League leader was hacked to death in Dattapara area under in Laxmipur Sadar upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased is Md Rubel, 28, son of Abul Khayer of the area. He was general secretary of Ward No 4 unit of AL's youth front in Dattapara union.
Police said Rubel was an accused in several cases, including one for murder.
Locals said Rubel might have been killed by his rival party men.
No one was arrested in connection with the killing as of 5:00pm yesterday.
