ITHC to sponsor Gold Cup

The International Trade Holding Company (ITHC), a Kuwait-based conglomerate, has announced to extend their support to Bangladesh's football by sponsoring the eight-nation Bangabandhu Gold Cup football tournament.
“Definitely our (Kuwait) relation with Bangladesh has been for a long period. When I met Kazi Salahuddin, he convinced me to support Bangladesh's Football and since then I have decided to help Bangladesh's football. I am honoured to be here,” said ITHC chairman Dr Hamad Al-Tuwaijri at a press conference yesterday.
“We hope to build a sustainable relationship and continuing our support to Bangladesh Football Federation. We will love to see Bangladesh national team in a strong position,” said Kuwait's former parliament member Hamad, who left yesterday.
Thanking Hamad for accepting his invitation, BFF president Kazi Salahudin said Hamad is planning to work with Bangladesh Football Federation and the ITHC would sponsor the Bangabandhu Gold Cup to be held in September.
