Instability worries Raushan
Leader of the Opposition in parliament Raushan Ershad today expressed her concern over the country’s prevailing situation.
“It is unexpected and immoral that people are being killed by setting buses on fire in the name of political programme,” she said.
“Hartal and blockade -- the major tools of realizing political demands have been turned into the causes of people’s sufferings.”
She underscored the need for the country’s political stability in the interest of its economy and education.
Violent activities have been happening on the streets in the name of movement. The country’s economy will face a setback if the prevailing situation continues for long, she said.
Besides, the country’s future generation is also facing crisis of smooth education atmosphere due to the ongoing political programme, she observed.
She called upon the political parties to plan economy and education friendly programmes.
“Our readymade garment and transport sectors have become the worst victim of the ongoing political programme,” she added.
