GDG Bangla holds seminar on how to enrich Bangla Content

A discussion was held in Dhaka about how Google Translate works and how to contribute for Bangla in Google Translate in Google at Daffodil International University (DIU) yesterday (8th February). DIU and Google Developers Group Bangla (GDG Bangla) jointly organized this seminar titled “Enriching Open Source and local content: Future ahead” in association with Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN).

Dr. Khan Mohammad Anawarus Salam, Country Engineering Consultant from Google for Bangladesh, Mr. Munir Hasan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and Mr. Jabed Sultan Pias, Manager, Google Developers Group Bangla spoke in the seminar. Mr. Arne Mauser, Software Engineer, Google Translator, Google Inc presented the keynote. Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering,  DIU presided over the seminar. Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University (DIU) was the session chair. The seminar was also addressed by Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DIU.
