GAME ON!

Gaming is something that has been pretty much synonymous with the past few generations in the country. With Electronic Sports garnering more and more attention at home and abroad, in this issue of SHOUT, we look at Bangladesh's potential to reach the global stages of gaming. For some like Jishnu Brahmaputra, what started as a fun past-time became their lifelong passion. Even though gamers would get crucified in our society for being professionals, it's about time we considered them as athletes in their own right.
We are proud to introduce two new regular features. 'Humans of Bangladesh' by Bangladeshi Photographers is a fortnightly feature where we display selected photos with personal stories. The other regular feature is from We Draw Stuff where a selected drawing from the community or artists will be on page 11 every Sunday. Go ahead, turn it into a poster.  
Covering LAN gaming and upcoming tech trends for 2014, this issue is a shout-out to gamers and techies by the resident geeks.
