Fishing vassal with 28 men drowned in Bay
A fishing vassal with 28 people including captain and fishermen drowned in the Bay of Bengal today.
FV Shahshahil, drowned around 1:00pm about 15 nautical miles off Cox's Bazar, reports our Chittagong correspondent quoting Razibul Islam, a lieutenant commander of Bangladesh Navy.
The vassal drowned due to stormy weather in the sea, said Md Mohiuddin, an official of Ali and Brothers, owner of the vassal.
A rescue ship of Bangladesh Navy was on its way to join rescue operation.
