A fire broke out at Bengal Studio owned by private television channel RTV at capital's Tejgaon this afternoon.

The tin-shed studio caught into fire around 5:30pm, Fire Service officials told The Daily Star.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

Five units of Fire Service from different parts of the city doused the fire around 6:10pm.
