Female student killed in Badda road crash

A female student of a private university was killed in a road accident at Uttar Badda in Dhaka this evening.
The victim was identified as Zannatul Ferdous Mou, a student of East West University in the capital, Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station, told The Daily Star Online.
A covered van hit a rickshaw she was travelling in around 9:00pm, leaving her critically injured, the police officer said.
Doctors declared her dead when she was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Police seized the covered van but the driver fled away.
