- Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani at a massive labourer’s rally at Shahjaha’s ground in Chittagong advises Bhutto no to take the trouble to come to East Pakistan and write his own governance policy.
- Bhashani, in his speech, says East Pakistan’s own governance policy will ensure freedom from oppression and repression. He says Doultana, Khuro and Bhuttos destroyed East Pakistan by abuse in the last decade. Again they are trying to crush the interest of East Pakistan.
- He says East Pakistan should write a governance policy that will determine the salary scale of officers and labours and equal right to each religion.
- Following a meeting with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka, retired Air Marshal Nur Khan tells APP that he believes Sheikh Mujib would invite West Pakistan leaders to Dhaka to discuss issues regarding governance policy before the start of the National Assembly session. Replying a question, he says he neither brought any message from West Pakistan nor taking any from Dhaka. He also meets with P and P Chief Nurul Amin and NAP (Bhashani) leader Moshiur Rahman.
