We have surprises in store for our audience: Arifin Shuvoo

The first look poster for "Black War", the upcoming Arifin Shuvoo starrer has been released. This will be the second instalment of the "Mission Extreme" series.

The poster has been well received by fans thus far, with many expressing their excitement for the upcoming film. 

Arifin Shuvoo told The Daily Star on Thursday evening, "I've generally heard positive feedback after the release of the poster for "Black War". Very few people have said anything negative about it. After seeing the poster, I hope fans will realise that there will be a lot of action in the movie and that we have many surprises for them. I noticed the excitement amongst the fans, and like them, I too am waiting for the film's release." 

The poster features Arifin Shuvoo, Sadia Nabila, and Sumit Sengupta. A black atmosphere and aesthetic were chosen for the poster, keeping in line with the movie's name.

'Mujib' trailer not "official", says Arifin Shuvoo

Producer and director Sunny Sanwar said, "Taking many things into consideration, I did not release 'Black War' during Eid-ul-Fitr. However, it will be released sometime this year, and the first look poster is my Eid-ul-Adha gift for the audience. I hope they will not have to wait too long to watch the movie."

The director said that the story for the first act of "Mission Extreme" will conclude with "Black War". Arifin Shuvoo plays the central character in both parts of "Mission Extreme". 

"Black War" also stars Taskeen Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shatabdi Wadud, Iresh Zaker, and Manoj Kumar Pramanik.

 "Mission Extreme", the first part of the story, was released on December 3, 2021.
