'Sex and the City' actor Willie Garson passes away at 57
"Sex and the City" actor Willie Garson who played the role of Carrie Bradshaw's beloved best friend Stanford Blatch has passed away at the age of 57.
The actor's demise was confirmed by his son, Nathen Garson, through an Instagram post. However, The cause was not immediately disclosed.
"I love you so much papa," Nathen captioned the post.
"Rest In Peace and I'm so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I'm so proud of you. I will always love you, but I think it's time for you to go on an adventure of your own," the post added.
Garson was also popular for his role as a con-man Mozzie in the TV show White Collar.
In addition to the Sex and the City movies, Garson worked with the Farrelly brothers in some of their films, including Kingpin (1996), There's Something About Mary (1998), and Fever Pitch (2005).
He played Lee Harvey Oswald three times, including the film Ruby (1992), and on the TV shows Quantum Leap and MADtv.
