‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ receives Censor Board approval
Bangladesh Film Censor Board have issued a clearance certificate to noted filmmaker Nurul Alam Atique's forthcoming film, "Lal Moroger Jhuti". The news was confirmed by the director himself. In a conversation with the Daily Star, he assured that on November 7, the film received censorship.
Under the banner of Pandulipi Karkhana, Matia Banu Shuku is the producer of the film, which received a government grant in the fiscal year 2014-15. Based on true events of the Liberation War of Bangladesh, the film stars Jyotika Jyoti, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Laila Hasan, Ahmed Rubel, Ashish Khandokar, and Deepak Sumon among others. The shooting of the film began in 2016, which was halted due to financial crisis, the film completed its post-production this year.
The "Dubshatar" famed director also informed that the film is expected to release countrywide on December 10. "We want to show this film to as many people as we can," shares Atique. "We dedicated the film in completion of Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh's independence."
