Indian jewellery ad featuring trans woman winning netizens’ hearts with beautiful message of acceptance

An Indian advertisement, featuring a trans woman's life journey, has gone viral on social media and winning over the hearts of netizens.

Made by Kochi-based Bhima Jewellers, it portrays the restlessness and apprehension that a person feels while transitioning, as well as how support from the family can make them feel more included.

Trans activist Meera Singhania takes the lead role in the project, delivering a commendable performance as she discovers her true identity to getting decked out for her wedding.

The initiative has been earning praise from netizens on social media. Author Devdutt Pattanaik took to Twitter to praise the ad and said, "What a progressive ad from Kerala."
