Azizur Rahman, the director of "Chhutir Ghonta", among many other famous films, passed away in Canada yesterday. Noted actress Champa worked with the renowned filmmaker on the movie, "Baap Beta 420". She was shocked by the news of his demise. The actress shared her fond memories of the director, in a chat with The Daily Star.
"I was amused by his sketching skills. Although I worked with him only in one film, it never felt that way," says the actress. "We would meet every day at BFDC. He was an amazing artist as well."
"He gave me suggestions for my eye-make up, to create a softer look that would suit me," she says. Initially, Champa was not convinced. However, Azizur Rahman sketched his ideas for her make up on a paper and asked her to compare. "Till date, I follow the suggestions that he gave me, when it comes to my make-up," adds Champa.
