Ayub Bachchu’s son pays tribute to the late legend on third death anniversary
On this day three years ago, the nation lost one of its most beloved musicians, rock icon Ayub Bachchu.
Since then, thousands of people have paid tribute to the late legend, but perhaps none more heartfelt than his own son, Ahnaf Tazwar Ayub.
At the stroke of midnight, a cover of "Ghumonto Shohore", one of LRB's evergreen tracks, was posted from the band's official page, played by none other than his son, Ahnaf Tazwar Ayub.
"I really felt like you were right there beside me when I played this solo. We all miss and love you very much", he wrote in the caption.
Besides being an unparalleled musician, Ayub Bachchu also fought for artistes rights, which came to fruition this year when Bangladesh Copyright Office ensured the fair royalty disbursement of 272 of his songs – promising the same treatment for all artistes.
