On 3 May this year, Ecstasy -- one of the nation's largest fashion and lifestyle brands -- launched its twentieth retail outlet at Jamuna Future Park (Level-2). The outlet was inaugurated by Asha Haque, Chairman of Ecstasy, and Tanjim Haque, Managing Director and Chief Designer of Ecstasy. Popular celebrities, such as Shunno, Elita, Jon Kabir, Sanjita Anowar, Shompreeti, and Nusrath Faria graced the event.
The new outlet, spanning over 10,000 square feet of floor space, offers an extensive range of branded clothing and accessories that are inspired by global fashion and that will certainly cater to the contemporary tastes of Dhakaites.
Looking back on Ecstasy's humble beginning as a single store in 1997, this additional outlet is an impressive feat and it is a testimony of the tremendous recognition that the brand has achieved among the masses over the years.
On the occasion, Tanjim Haque, Managing Director and Chief Designer of Ecstasy, said, “This is the twentieth flagship store in Dhaka and we are just picking up the pace. We are always intrigued by the exclusivity of our fashion products and driven by the very notion of our customers' satisfaction. That's why we are inspired by global brands and we have a wide range of collection, such as Tanjim for men and Zarzain for women, along with other global brands and lifestyle products. And that is why we are determined to broaden our range of stores in future.”
Ecstasy offers clothing, accessories, shoes, bags, perfumes, and other fashion essentials under a single roof. Aligning itself with the seasonal trend, Ecstasy is currently offering products in summer hues of hot pink, electric crimson, yellow, bright green, aqua, and mulberry, as well as in classic shades of black, lavender, beige, burgundy, gray, indigo, and white. Multiple fabrics, materials, designs, cuts, and embellishments are sewn together to create that one irresistible piece of clothing or accessory.
For the new shoppers of Ecstasy, a starting budget of Tk.2000 is recommended. Ecstasy's Privilege Card (or the Gold Card) can be used in the new store. The card enables its patrons to receive 15-20 per cent discounts, priority check-outs, exclusive invitations, gifts, and style tips.
Ecstasy lives up to its mission statement -- 'Your Final Fashion Destination' -- as its recent store provides a one-stop solution to our needs for trendy Western-wear and merchandise. The only Oriental clothing you will find here are the sleek 'kurtis' in the women's section.

Ecstasy's latest store has the potential to cater to the demands of both local and foreign fashion enthusiasts.
Amidst mirth, glamour, and energy, various activities were arranged for the day-long inaugural ceremony. In the activity -- 'Celebrity Style Statement' -- four renowned models Jahedur Ripon, Nibir Nahid, S. Urf Ruma, and Nawshin Laila provided fashion advice to all visiting patrons. 'Dress to Impress' was a fun-filled activity in which registered guests had the opportunity to purchase their favourite Ecstasy outfits within a given budget.'
 ‘Bedazzled' was an evening activity in which registered guests competed in groups to dress a model within a given period of time. Other activities included music, laser show, and more. Rehnuma T Karishma was the event's compère. Celebrities and patrons from across the city attended the event.
