Dr Wasim's body reaches home tomorrow
The body of Dr Wasim Alimuzzaman, who was killed in a suspected Taliban-led attack in Kabul last Thursday, will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow evening.
Dr Wasim Alimuzzaman, better known as Wasim Zaman, 65, was a retired regional director of the UNFPA in South Asia.
Wasim retired from his UN post a couple of years back and joined a Malaysia-based non-government organisation. He was in Kabul for business purposes when the attack killed him and eight others.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Azad mosque in Gulshan after Esha prayers tomorrow and he will be buried later on.
