DNCC opens tender for 8 cattle markets
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) yesterday opened the tender for eight makeshift cattle markets in the city ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
This year the highest bid was Tk 2.78 crore for the space at Agargaon Slum, while last year the highest bid was Tk 2.16 crore, also proposed for the same place.
However, no proposal has yet come forward for the playground at Polytechnic Institute, said Chief State Officer of the corporation Md Aminul Rahman.
He said they will again open the tender for bidding for the playground.
Top bids for other markets are: Tk 55 lakh for Uttara Azampur Government Primary School field, Tk 62 lakh for the open space at Khilkhet Banorupa Residential Project, Tk 60 lakh for the open space next to Banani-Kakoli Railway Station, Tk 33 lakh for the open space at Eastern Housing, Tk 81.50 lakh for the space Baridhara, block-J, and Tk 95 lakh for the open space joining Uttara sectors 11 and 13.
