Death anniversary

Today is the 21st death anniversary of Justice Abdur Rahman Chowdhury.

On this occasion a doa mahfil will be held, says a press release.

He was the vice president of Salimullah Muslim Hall of Dhaka University in 1948 and played a leading role during the Language Movement.

He was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court in 1973 and had contributions to other national and international organisations.
