Death Anniversary

Today is the 26th death anniversary of former president and Justice Abu Sayeed Chowdhury.
To mark the day, a Qurankhwani and a milad mahfil will be held at Nagbari Jame Mosque in Tangail.
He was a vice-chancellor of Dhaka University and a special envoy of the provisional government. In 1985 he was elected Chairman of UN Human Rights Commission and was visiting Professor at Franklin Pierce Law Centre, New Hampshire, USA.
