Ctg arson victim loses battle for life
The driver of a human hauler lost his battle for life today, four days after he was burnt in a petrol bomb attack in Chittagong city.
Md Mitul, 22, who suffered 80 percent burn injuries, succumbed at the ICU of Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 4:00am, reports of Chittagong correspondent.
Mitul was injured when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb on his vehicle, locally known as Laguna, at Technical intersection in the port city on Monday, said Sub-inspector Zahirul Islam, in-charge of CMCH police camp.
The arson attack took place when the BNP-led 18-party alliance was observing a two-day hartal demanding cancellation of results of the 10th parliamentary election held Sunday.
