Severed body parts recovered from a field in Moulvibazar
Severed body parts were recovered from a bamboo field at Dakshin Pashaun village of Sreemangal upazila in Moulvibazar today.
"After getting the information, we went to the spot and recovered two arms and a leg from the spot. A sack was found next to the severed body parts but nothing was in it. It is likely the limbs were in the sack which a dog or a cat pulled out," our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting Sreemangal Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Abdus Salek.
"The torso remains missing and we are looking for it," said OC [investigation] of the same police station Humayun Kabir.
"We think that the body parts belong to a woman. Police is investigating the matter at the moment," said Additional Superintendent of Police Shahidul Haque.
