Man’s body found in Jhenidah

Police recovered the body of a young man from a village in Sadar upazila of Jhenidah last night.

The deceased was identified as Samrat Hossain (26), son of Samir Uddin of Chutlia Dakhkhin para of the upazila, said Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.

Locals found the body in Chutlia area around 10:30pm and informed police, said the police official.

Later, law enforcers rushed to the spot and recovered it, said the OC.

They found several stab marks on various parts of the body including the neck, he said.  

Police started a drive to find the people involved in the murder, our Jhenidah correspondent reports quoting the OC.
