Youth found murdered

An unidentified youth was found murdered at Chawkgupinathpur village in sadar upazila of the district yesterday morning.

The victim, aged about 22, was wearing lungi and black shirt.  

Locals found the body on a cropland with throat slit and injury marks on the head and right hand at around 8.00am.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
