Woman killed in Pabna bomb attack

A woman was killed and her daughter-in-law hurt as unidentified miscreants hurled crude bombs at them in Sadar upazila of Pabna early today.  

The victim -- Samirannesa, 80, wife of late Taju Pramanik, a local – succumbed to her wounds at a local hospital around 10:30am, our Pabana correspondent reports quoting police.

Unidentified miscreants threw several crude bombs at her house and fled when Samirannesa and her daughter-in-law came out of their home around 5:30am, Abdullah Al Hasan, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said.

Samiranessa was rushed to Pabna General Hospital, the police official said.
