Two cousins killed under train

Two cousins were killed under a train in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga on Friday while they were walking along a railway bridge.

The deceased were Salman Hossain Sujon, 22, a third year honour's student at Chuadanga Government College and son of Alauddin Ali, and Arafat Hossain, 9, a student of Class III at Dingedah Government Primary School and son of Nuruddin Ali.

Station Master of Alamdanga Railway Station Mintu Rahman said they were walking along a railway bridge when Rajshahi-bound Mahananda train hit them around 6:00pm.

“Both were killed on the spot,” the station master said.
