Tragic!

A schoolgirl died when her scarf got entangled with a wheel of an auto-rickshaw in Mohammadpur upazila of Magura district yesterday.

The deceased was identified as seventh grader Mim Khatun, 14, daughter of Nizam Uddin of Khalia village in the upazila.

The incident took place around 1:00pm when she was returning home from her aunt's residence at Dafolbaria village in the upazila, said the victim's father.

Critically injured Mim later died at Magura Sadar Hospital, he said.
