One held with $28,000

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested one person and recovered 28,000 US dollar and some cameras from him at the International Passenger Terminal here on Sunday night.

The arrestee was identified as Amir Hossain, 26, son of Anwar Hossain, and a resident of Sorikori village in Chouddagram upazila of Comilla.

Major Liakat Ali, acting commanding officer of BGB-26 Battalion, said they challenged Amir at the passenger terminal who was coming from India.
