Verify land related documents before purchasing land: IGP

Inspector General of Police Mohammad Javed Patwary today stressed the need for verifying land related documents before land purchase and selling as land related cases is the highest among all the cases registered.

The police chief made the call while unveiling covers of three books written by three police officials at the Ekushey Book Fair at Bangla Academy premises.

Additional Deputy Inspector General Gazi Mozammel Haque authors the book titled ‘Nishkanthak Jomir Malikana’, Assistant Inspector General Farooque Ahmed writes the book titled ‘Aporadh and Dondoshomuho’ and Assistant Sub-Inspector Hafizur Rahman writes the book ’Je Golpo Hoina Lekha’.  

The IGP facilitated the authors for writing books despite burdened with duties to maintain law and order.
