Students block highway

Students of Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute blocked Mongla-Chittagong highway yesterday, demanding resignation of its principal over misuse of power.

They brought several allegations against their principal, including using an administrative building as his residence and an academic building as the administrative building illegally.

They also accused him of misappropriating of college fund.
