Pran-RFL distributes relief among 40,000 families

Pran-RFL group has distributed relief materials to some 40,000 families across the country during the ongoing shutdown over coronavirus continues.

The relief includes rice, puffed rice, noodles, cakes, biscuits, milk and juice. The distribution is done in coordination with local administrations and public representatives, said a press release.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director at PRAN-RFL group, said they initially distributed food among several thousand families in various points of Dhaka, Gazipur, Narsingdi, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Natore, Dinajpur and Rangpur at the beginning of this month.

They are now thinking of adding more districts to their relief operations.

"The initiative was launched as many people are struggling to manage food for their family members during this shutdown," he said.
