Paper mill sealed off

Raja Paper and Board Mills in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha was sealed off on Wednesday for operating without any effluent treatment plant.

A mobile court led by Gobindaganj upazila Executive Magistrate Nazir Hossain delivered the order during a drive at the factory located by Ishamati Gajari canal in Chapriganj area off Rangpur-Bogura highway.

Ashrafuzzaman, director of Department of Environment, was present during the drive.
