National judicial conference to be held tomorrow
The National Judicial Conference-2019 will be held tomorrow to discuss all relevant issues including backlog of cases, digitalisation in the judiciary and effective court administration management.
With the theme of “Justice for Peace and Development”, the Supreme Court is going to arrange the daylong programme at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka, Supreme Court source said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the event as the chief guest.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain will preside over the inaugural programme where Law Minister Anisul Huq will speak at the conference as special guest.
Judges from the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the SC and lower courts across the country are expected to attend the function, according to the source.
