Indian Coast Guard chief on 3-day visit to Bangladesh
The Indian Coast Guard chief is paying a visit to Bangladesh from September 15, strengthening defence cooperation between the two countries.
Director General Krishnaswamy Natarajan’s visit will strengthen the cooperation particularly in the field of maritime domain and will fortify the close and fraternal ties existing between the coast guards of both nations, according to a press release issued by High Commission of India.
During his visit which will end on September 18, Natarajan will be calling on high ranking dignitaries of Bangladesh including the home Minister, chief of naval staff and the DG Bangladesh Coast Guard etc.
He will also attend the High-Level Meeting between Indian and Bangladeshi Coast Guards.
The Indian Coast Guard official has been accompanied by two delegation members.
