Four cops closed

Four policemen were closed to Rajbari District Police Lines yesterday for their alleged negligence in duties.

They are sub-inspector Firoj Ahmed, constables Masufur Rahman, Habibur Rahman and Chand Mia of Goalundo Ghat Police Station, said district police administration sources.

A team, led by the SI, was patrolling in Goalondo ghat area on Wednesday night.

At that time, Superintendent of Police Zihadul Kabir went to visit the area and found the four conducting their duties without their firearms.

Replying to a query, they said the arms were at the police station.

The four were closed to the district police lines yesterday, said the SP.
