Doctor held with Yaba

Police in a drive arrested a government medical officer and two of his associates along with 2,000 Yaba tablets from a saw mill in Zia Road area of Mirpur municipality area in the district on Sunday night. The arrestees are Dr Asaduzzaman Firoj, 33, a medical officer of Kushtia Chest Disease Hospital, Jaynal Abedin Jay, 32, son of Abdul Jannat of Chak Krisnapur village in Daulatpur upazila, and Naharul Islam Malitha, 33, owner of Malitha Saw Mill.
