Covid-19: Over 1,300 serving, retired armed forces personnel and family members infected

At least 1,364 current and retired members of armed forces and their family members have so far tested positive for Covid-19, according to Inter Services Public Relation Directorate.

Of those infected, 10 -- eight of whom were retired -- have died so far.

The infected persons include 1,020 serving and retired members of armed forces, 92 of their family members and 252 non-military members.

At least 933 people are being treated at different Combined Military Hospitals, the ISPR notice said. It also said, 421 people have recovered from Covid-19.

Samples from 7,410 persons have been tested at 13 RT-PCR machines at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and different CMHs across the country.
