College girl found dead

Police recovered the body of a college girl in Bhaluka upazila on Monday night.

The deceased, Proma Akter, 17, daughter of Mujibur Rahman of Medila village, was a second-year student at Bhaluka Government Degree College.

Quoting the deceased's family members, police said Proma's mother went out of the house on Monday evening, leaving Proma alone at home.

When Proma's mother returned to the house around 9:00pm she found her daughter hanging from the ceiling of the house, the OC added.
