Defeated Awami League candidate has demanded re-election to 16 centres of Nabinagar upazila in a written complaint to the Election Commission.

Ruling Awami League’s chairman nominee Kazi Zahir Uddin Siddique submitted his appeal to the EC secretariat on yesterday afternoon.
He alleged, huge discrepancy was found in 4,500 cancelled ballots for Awami League, what he claimed was done under instruction of local lawmaker.
He also alleged, agents of boat symbol were not permitted to enter voting centres on election day and that ballots were stamped for the symbol ‘inkpot’.
