5.8 magnitude earthquake jolts Dhaka again
Another moderate earthquake with 5.8 magnitude jolted Dhaka and some other parts of the country early today.
It was the second earthquake in 12 hours originated from the same region.
This time also the epicentre of the earthquake was in the India-Myanmar border region, about 301 km South-East of Dhaka, Bangladesh Meteorological Department in Dhaka's Agargaon confired.
BMD categorised the earthquake as a moderate one and it was felt at 4:40am, according to the BMD.
Reports of damage or casualty caused by the quake could not be known yet.
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of the country at 4:46pm yesterday.
